Artiste accuse Duncan Mighty of contract breach after collecting N1m

A musician, Appy Day, has called out pop musician, Duncan Mighty, for allegedly failing to appear for a song recording and video shoot after paying N1 million to him.

The artist expressed his grievances via a series of tweets.

In one tweet, he wrote: “Above is proof of payment to Duncan @duncanmighty and his brand manager Western Momodu. Totaling 1 million naira. Plus conversations between Duncan’s manager and my manager. Duncan claims the money was for Studio booking.”

He also showed proof of the payments.

Duncan Mighty had addressed Appy Day via an Instagram post on Sunday, he wrote: ” You cannot draw virtue from what you don’t value abeg somebody should tell @iamappydayy to reply my Dm. I no do amnesty no mean say I no sabi open and close chamber or I Holy.

“Na from Salt Water I put PHC for map I gain stardom with suffer 11years ago if u think gaining fame is by this then you miss road.. don’t push me back to the RIVER,” he wrote.

In 2018, Duncan Mighty benefited from collaborations with Wizkid and Davido which helped relaunch his career.

Wizkid featured him on ‘Fake Love’ while he collaborated with Davido’s DMW on the song ‘Aza’.

He was also featured in Tiwa Savage’s ‘Lova Lova’, Reekado Banks’s ‘Bio Bio’ and DJ Xclusive’s ‘Gimme Love.’
