Super Eagles youngster, Alex Iwobi, was targeted by a section of Arsenal fans after the club’s disastrous 5-1 defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Iwobi, 20, was given the nod to start in Germany by Arsene Wenger at the expense of experienced pair, Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud.
But the presence of the Nigerian couldn’t save the Gunners from an impending massacre at the hands of the Bavarians who struck through Arjen Robben, Robert Lewandowski, Thiago Alcantara (brace) and Thomas Muller.
Arsenal’s only goal came via a penalty kick which was missed but later converted by Alexis Sanchez.
Fans of the English side were understandably frustrated considering their beloved club are on the brink of a sixth consecutive round of 16 exit from the competition with Iwobi labelled as the scapegoat.
If you have any heart at all you’ll pretend you’re injured until end of season.
