Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere has given N10 million to an older woman who married his adopted son Aboy Chibuzor.
The wedding took place on Sunday at the Omega Power Ministries (OPM) church.
The pastor also said the couple would receive a house and an overseas trip. He added that N20 million would be given after 10 years if his son is still alive.
Sharing pictures from the ceremony on Facebook, he wrote, “Aboy CHIBUZOR finally marries today 29 March 2026. A single woman of God. 10 million Naira wedding gift. Free house. Overseas vacation. And 20 million Naira after 10 years if Aboy still alive. And many more gift loading.”
He added that a member of the church donated N1 million, while another gave N200,000.
The marriage followed a video in which the pastor asked for a wife for his adopted son and promised financial support.
The video drew reactions from the public, with some saying the proposal was not appropriate.
The pastor later apologised, saying he did not intend to offend anyone.
He said his adopted son was abandoned as a child at the church gate and has been under his care since then.
He added that the young man needs support with daily activities.
In his update after the wedding, Apostle Chinyere said the man has started feeding himself.
He added that he expects further progress in his condition.
