Actress Annie Idibia has laughed off the rumour of another marriage crisis with her husband, singer, Innocent Idibia, better known as 2face.
When it was noticed that the actress was no longer following her husband, several reports (not Qed.ng) claimed that a rift was brewing between the couple.
Reacting in an Instagram post on Monday, Annie laughed off the reports, saying that bloggers are quick to report ‘bad news’.
The actress claimed that a glitch on Instagram had caused the unfollowing which led to the rumoured rift with her husband.
Clearing the air, she wrote: “Jesus ooooo. Na do una like bad news tire!! Na wa ooo!!! Simple Instagram glitch una don create story!!! Nigerian bloggers, I hail. Make una no dey make innocent lovers of both a guy and I mind jump ooo.”
In another post, the mother of two wrote: “Serious Trash. Lol Mbok oooo Ahhhh ! Bloggers y’all r real vibes mannnnnnn. I salute Una ooo. But hey #annieidibiatrending everywhere already.”
The Idibia family made headlines in September after Annie dragged 2face and his baby mama, Pero Adeniyi.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, Annie Idibia accused the singer of spending nights with Pero Adeniyi, who is the mother of three of his seven children.
The actress also said 2face’s family does not like her and his baby mamas use his children “as an excuse for all sorts of rubbish.”
Responding, 2face’s brother Charles Idibia called Annie an addict and her mother a witch.
As the crisis deepened, a voice recording of Annie threatening to ruin everything was leaked on the internet.
With things spiraling out of control, 2face was forced to release a statement on Instagram that reads “I admit that bringing our personal issues on social media was not cool but I will not sit back and watch everyone have a free for all battle here in the name of love or solidarity.
