Commissioner for Health, Mordi Ononye, said in a statement on Tuesday that the woman’s test results and that of her male friend turned out negative.

The American was in Nigeria to see her male friend.

It was learnt that the man took the woman’s corpse to the Orerokpe Police Station.

He was then taken to the Isolation Unit, Central Hospital Warri for fear he could have the virus.
