American singer Enisa has berated a Nigerian Twitter influencer who goes by the name Daniel Regha for telling her to “bond with fans from other countries” besides Nigeria.

The critic suggested this during the singer’s interactive session with her fans on Twitter on Monday.

“Enisa, firstly u need to grow ur influence by bonding with fans from other countries aside Nig cos Nigerians alone can’t elevate ur career to the peak; Secondly, stay true to yourself, u are beginning to! lose ur authenticity following trends. Lastly, work with female artistes often,” Daniel tweeted.

Reacting to the tweet on Tuesday, the American star questioned why Regha always attacks Nigerian celerbities on Twitter. She further noted that she interacts more with her Nigerian audience because they like her music and she loves them for it.

She said: “Why do I always see u shaming ur own people on this app. I’m authentically me on all my social media & music. I interact with whoever interacts with me.

“Whoever likes my music, I will respond to on social media. On Twitter, I happen to have a large Nigerian following & I love it.”

Enisa became popular after she expressed her love for Nigerians who topped the chat for streaming her song ‘Love Cycle’ on December 3, 2020.

On December 5 she got the name Eniola after a Twitter poll was conducted between the names Eniola and Enitan.

The singer also featured pop star Davido on the remix version of ‘Love Cycle’.
