Alex Badeh laid to rest in Abuja

The former Chief Of Defence Staff, Alex Badeh, has been laid to rest on Wednesday in Abuja.

Mr Badeh died from gunshot injuries sustained when his vehicle was attacked while returning from his farm along Abuja-Keffi Road on December 18.

He was buried at the military cemetery, after a funeral service at the Pentecostal church, in the Air Force base.

Present at the funeral was the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, as well as governors of Plateau and Adamawa States, Simon Lalong and Bindo Jibrilla respectively.

Also in attendance was the Chief of Defence Staff, Abayomi Olonisakin.

The chiefs of naval staff, air staff and the army staff were represented.
