Alaafin steps out with Igbo wife Olori Chioma

Alaafin of Oyo and new olori Chioma

Alaafin of Oyo Oba Lamidi Adeyemi has been spotted with a new wife identified as Olori Chioma Adeyemi.

The monarch and his new wife were spotted last weekend at the installation of real estate mogul Tomori Williams as the Aare Onikoyi of Yorubaland.

The 82-year-old monarch attended the event with all 13 of his queens.

Many did not recognise Olori Chioma until Fuji musician and Maiyegun of Yorubaland K1 de Ultimate heaped praises on the monarch and mentioned her name.

It was gathered that the respected monarch quietly got married to Olori Chioma last year, according to City People.

She is the first Igbo woman to join the train of queens at the Alaafin’s palace.

Olori Chioma comes as an addition to the palace following the departure of several queens.

Last year, Queen Aanu confirmed her exit from the palace after alleging she was threatened by the monarch for leaving her marriage.

Queens Ola and Dami have allegedly left the Oyo palace too.

The former was rumoured to have had affair with K1 de Ultimate earlier in the year, an allegation she and the singer denied.
