President of African Development Bank (AfDB), Akinwumi Adesina, has received an Honorary Doctorate of Science (DSc) degree from the Federal University of Agriculture (FUTA), Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Mr Adesina was presented the degree on Tuesday.
He shared pictures of the moments on Wednesday on Twitter, saying his wife, Grace, who was present, brings out the best in him.
The former minister of agriculture took pictures with several graduands, wishing them a bright future.
In another post on Twitter, he repeated his message about the youth being ‘Africa’s best assets.’
“We must make this decade the ‘Youth Investment Decade,’” he said in appreciation to the young graduates who felicitated with him.
