Ajimobi’s son installed as Aare Akogun Musulumi of Oyo

Abolaji Abiola Ajimobi

Abolaji Ajimobi, son of the late former governor of Oyo State Abiola Ajimobi, has been installed as the Aare Akogun Musulumi of Oyo State.

The ceremony, which was held on Sunday at the Ibadan Central Mosque, Oja’ba, Ibadan, had in attendance his father-in-law and Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, his mother Florence Ajimobi, Deputy Governor of Oyo State Rauf Olaniyan, and Senator Teslim Folarin among others.

In a post to Instagram, Abolaji thanked his guests for attending the ceremony.

He said, “It was indeed another historic moment for me, my family and the good people of Oyo state today. Yours truly was installed as the AARE AKOGUN MUSULUMI OF OYO STATE.

“The Installation and Turbaning Ceremony was a success thanks to you. Hasbunallah Wanikmal Wakil! Thank you all for coming.”

His mother congratulated him in an Instagram post on Monday. She said, “AARE AKAGUN MUSULUMI My husband, Congratulations.”
