Aisha Buhari shares photos of visit to Saudi Arabia’s holy mosque

First lady Aisha Buhari has thanked the Government of Saudi Arabia for the warm reception accorded her in the past seven years she has visited the country.

Mrs Buhari stated this on Thursday night in two posts on Instagram.

She said she was honoured to be at the exhibition stand of the women’s wing at Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, the holy mosque located in the heart of Medina.

According to her, “The directorate has several products showcased, the braille qur’an stand, the translation stand which offers live juma’at sermon in various languages, the zamzam stand, the volunteers stand among others, all aimed at making the visitors comfortable.”

Mrs Buhari said she was amazed by the doors at the mosque, noting that the woods were sourced from South Asia, produced in Spain, designed with gold in France and then returned to Saudi Arabia.

She added, “I will like to use this medium to thank the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia/Royal Protocal for the warm reception accorded to me and my entourage for the past 7yrs. I say ‘JAZAKALLAH BIH AKHASANIL KHAIR.'”
