Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has expressed relief following news that Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and his family had recovered from coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Mr Okowa had announced on Tuesday morning via Twitter that he, his wife Edith, their daughter and other members of the family had tested negative for COVID-19 in the latest round of tests.
Reacting to the news, Musa tweeted a folded hands emoji to show gratitude to God.
The Super Eagles regularly play their home games at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, Delta State.
Okowa’s family’s recovery comes 13 days after they revealed they had tested positive for COVID-19.
