Super Eagles forward Ahmed Musa has taken a fourth wife, Asmau Moriki, adding to his growing family four years after marrying a Shuwa woman named Maryam.
Clips from the wedding ceremony surfaced on Instagram on Friday, showing the footballer and his new bride sharing joyful moments with friends and well-wishers in attendance.
Musa, known for his impressive football career and philanthropic work, also draws public attention for his personal life, particularly his marriages.
He married his first wife, Jamila Musa, in 2013. The union produced two children: Ahmed Musa Jr., born in 2014 and Halima Musa, born in 2015.
Their marriage ended in 2017 due to irreconcilable differences. Reports at the time linked their separation to Musa’s relationship with another woman, which reportedly led to a domestic dispute and his arrest in the UK. He was later released without charge.
Shortly after the divorce, Musa married Juliet Ejue. Their introduction ceremony was held in March 2017, followed by a court wedding in Abuja on May 23, and a traditional wedding on July 1, 2017, in Idum Mbube village, Ogoja Local Government Area of Cross River State.
Juliet, a graduate of the University of Calabar, is the mother of two of Musa’s children, including a son named Ibrahim Ahmed-Musa, born in June 2018.
In July 2021, the footballer tied the knot with Mariam Adamu Jajere in a private ceremony in Kano. Mariam, from Yobe State, became his third wife, confirming Musa’s practice of polygamy.
