AGN pays condolence visit to Junior Pope’s family

The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Junior Pope in Enugu.

AGN president Emeka Rollas led the visit and was accompanied by the Enugu State chapter chairman of the guild Brown Ene, the state commissioner of culture and tourism Ugochi Madueke and commissioner of information Aka Eze Aka.

Emeka Rollas posted a video from the visit on his Instagram account on Monday with the caption: “AN OFFICIAL CONDOLENCE VISIT TO THE FAMILY OF JUNIOR POPE IN THE COMPANY OF THE ACTORS GUILD CHAIRMAN ENUGU CHAPTER @mrbrownene.

“HON BARR UGOCHI MADUEKE COMMISSIONER FOR CULTURE AND TURISIM ENUGU STATEANDHON. AKA EZE AKA COMMISSIONER FOR INFORMATION ENUGU STATE MAY GOD GIVE THE FAMILY THE FORTITUDE TO BEAR THIS IRREPARABLE LOSS.”

Junior Pope was confirmed dead on April 10 after he drowned in a boat accident alongside other crew members on their way back from a movie location.

He was married to Jennifer Awele and they have three children together.
