Founder and president of the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA), Mike Dada, has announced a one-year memorial service for his late wife, Modupe Dada (née Baruwa), who died on October 19, 2024.
Sharing a poster of his late wife on Instagram on Monday, Mike said it has been a year since she went to be with the Lord and invited everyone to join the family to worship, remember and give thanks for her inspiring life at the memorial service.
He added that the service would hold on Sunday, October 19, at Grace Assembly Church, Yard 158, Kudirat Abiola Way, Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos State, from 12 noon to 1 PM.
Mr Dada captioned the post, “It’s been a year since my beloved wife Modupe Temitope Dada (Nee Baruwa) went to be with the Lord.
“You are warmly invited to join us as we worship, remember, and give thanks for her inspiring life at the One -year Memorial and Worship Service.”
Modupe Dada, born on May 5, 1976, was a respected banker and AFRIMA Vice President.
At the time of her death, she served as Branch Manager at Keystone Bank Limited, having joined in September 2024. She died at Duchess Hospital, Ikeja, Lagos, following a brief illness.
She is survived by her husband, Mike Dada and their children.
