Ahead of Saturday’s Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Seychelles, the Super Eagles took out time to engage in volleyball on Tuesday.

Around 18 Eagles are currently camped in Victoria, Mahé Island.

Not pausing for a full house, Gernot Rohr began preparations for the encounter.

In a video shared on Twitter, the three-time African champions were spotted engaging each other in volleyball rather than football.

The German tactician is already aware of the unavailability of Alex Iwobi, William Troost-Ekong and Ola Aina.

Henry Onyekuru, Kenneth Omeruo, Francis Uzoho, Semi Ajayi, Samuel Kalu, Wilfred Ndidi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Chidozie Awaziem, Kelechi Nwakali, Bryan Idowu, Simeon Nwankwo and Joel Obi arrived in camp on Tuesday morning.

In the afternoon, Saudi Arabia -based Ahmed Musa, alongside Turkey –based Ogenyi Onazi, China-based Odion Ighalo, Germany –based Jamilu Collins and the England –based duo of Oghenekaro Etebo and Leon Balogun arrived and joined the team for lunch.

Goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa (from Nigeria) and Daniel Akpeyi (from South Africa) were being expected to arrive camp before dinner.

The Super Eagles will look to garner all three points against the Pirates on Saturday after losing their first game 2-0 at home to South Africa in June 2017.
