Leke Adeboye, son of the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has been awarded a honorary doctorate in humanitarian and engineering science by the University of Civil Engineering and Management.

He announced this via Instagram on Sunday with photos from the university’s convocation ceremony.

Leke said, “It is not of him that wills, or of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy.

“I’m grateful to God to be awarded an honorary doctorate degree in Humanitarian and Engineering Science by the University of Civil Engineering and Management. This is definitely the Lord’s doing, and by His grace, we will do more for the kingdom.”

Leke thanked his wife, parents and pastors for their contributions to his life.

“Thankful to my parents and pastors; Daddy and Mummy G.O for their labor of love, my amazing wife Pastor Titi Adeboye, all members of Pastors’ Seed Family worldwide and of course, my family at LSC The Bridge. You all make me the man and leader that I am. Let’s do more this season,” he wrote.
