Gospel singer Ada Ehi and her husband Moses Ehi are celebrating their 18th wedding anniversary.
In a joint Instagram post on Sunday, the couple shared a throwback photo from their wedding ceremony alongside a message expressing gratitude for their journey together.
The caption read: “FROM A GRATEFUL HEART *Thank You God for my life + Thank You God for my wife Ada Ehi-Moses for our beautiful love *I’m grateful to God for rewriting my story through His Word: One of the crucial manifestations was you Ada Ehi-Moses *Thank you for choosing to look ahead at the future and trusting the process, doing life with me *When I found a good thing, Ada Ehi-Moses, I discovered a treasure and obtained favour from the Lord 5 years + of friendship 18 years of marriage We stand galant together till Christ returns If I were to wind back the clock, I will still choose you and do life with you again and again It’s our wedding anniversary, Thank you Jesus.”
The anniversary message revealed that the couple were friends for more than five years before getting married and have now spent 18 years together as husband and wife.
Ada and Moses met through Christ Embassy while she was a university student. They got married on June 7, 2008, before the singer rose to prominence in the gospel music industry.
Moses is an entrepreneur and chief executive of FreeNation INC and SoundCode Studios, the label and creative company closely associated with Ada’s music career.
Over the years, the couple have frequently spoken about the role faith has played in their relationship. They are parents to two children, including their daughter Emma Jane, who was born in 2010.
Ada, whose full name is Ada Ogochukwu Ehi-Moses, is known for gospel songs such as ‘Only You Jesus’, ‘I Testify’, ‘Cheta’, ‘Congratulations’ and ‘Open Doors’. She has remained one of Nigeria’s most recognised gospel music artistes since launching her professional career in 2009.
