Nollywood actor, Jude Chukwuka, has thanked Naira Marley for the N1m gift he gave him after a video of him singing his 2019 song, ‘Mafo’ went viral.
The Troubled Waters star thanked him on Instagram on Wednesday.
He wrote, “@nairamarley Thank you for the gift and a special thanks to all the #marlians…”
The 26-year-old singer acknowledged Jude’s message in the comments section of the post.
“U gon be happy forever, sir. Amin,” he prayed.
Naira Marley made the offer on Saturday and asked Marlians, as he calls his fans, to help him locate the actor.
Culture journalist and teacher, Shaibu Hussaini, then identified the actor and even included his phone number bur deleted the tweet after other Twitter users pointed out that it was a breach of the actor’s privacy.
Shaibu later stated that that Jude had been contacted and thanked Naira Marley for the gift.
