Acting IGP Egbetokun visits alma mater in mufti

Acting inspector-general of police Kayode Egbetokun has paid a visit to his alma mater the Anglican Comprehensive High School Ipaja, as the institution plans to celebrate its 50th anniversary.

Egbetokun, dressed in mufti, was named the chairman of the anniversary’s planning committee, Force PRO Muyiwa Adejobi said in a Facebook post on Saturday.

The acting police chief seized the opportunity to reconnect with his old schoolmates.
Egbetokun expressed his gratitude for the solid foundation and positive impacts his alma mater made to shape his career and character.

Adejobi said in his post, “He emphasised the significance of education in shaping future leaders and pledged his unwavering support to ensure the 50th-anniversary celebration becomes an unforgettable milestone for the school.
