The Association of Corporate and Marketing Communications Professionals in Banks in Nigeria (ACAMB) has announced its 4th National Stakeholders’ Conference.
Themed “AI and the Future of Trust: Reimagining Banking and Financial Services in a Digital-First Era,” the event is scheduled to take place on Thursday, July 10 at the CIBN Bankers House in Victoria Island, Lagos.
The conference will focus on the growing role of artificial intelligence in banking and how it affects trust, transparency, and customer relationships. It will bring together leaders from the banking sector, fintech companies, regulators, and technology experts to explore how innovation can support, not undermine, consumer confidence.
Managing Partner at Verraki Africa and Chairman of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG), Niyi Yusuf, will deliver the keynote address. His speech will set the tone for discussions on balancing cutting-edge technology with ethical and inclusive practices.
Panellists at the event include Yonodu Okeugo of VFD Microfinance Bank, Dr. Harrison Nnaji of First Bank Nigeria and Dele Adeyinka of Polaris Bank. They will share insights on cybersecurity, digital inclusion, and the future of customer experience in financial services.
ACAMB president, Rasheed Bolarinwa, described the upcoming conference as a crucial moment for the industry. “As AI revolutionizes banking, the question is not just about adoption,” he said. “It is about how we harness it to rebuild trust in an increasingly skeptical digital landscape. This conference is a clarion call for collaboration.”
Mr Bolarinwa added, “We must ensure that AI serves as a bridge, not a barrier, to financial inclusion and integrity. Together, we will redefine what it means to be a trusted financial institution in 2025 and beyond.”
The event is expected to draw a wide audience, including top bank executives, fintech founders, policymakers, academics, and technology service providers. Attendees can expect deep conversations and actionable ideas for reshaping banking in Nigeria and across Africa.
Founded in 1996, ACAMB is the umbrella body for communications professionals in Nigerian banks. It promotes ethical communication, supports industry reputation, and encourages strong engagement between financial institutions and the public.
