Some Nigerians have expressed concerns on the competency and integrity of Head of Public Complaint Rapid Response Unit of the Nigerian Police, Abayomi Shogunle, over his recent tweet concerning the #EndSars campaign.
In the message posted to Twitter on Thursday evening, Shogunle said he needs 186 million retweets for the #EndSars campaign.
“186 million Retweets to #EndSARS. Oya let’s go!” he wrote.
The tweet didn’t go down well with Nigerians as many saw his tweet as a mockery of the campaign that wants to see an end to the brutality suffered by Nigerians in the hands of men of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
