Chelsea fans troll Victor Moses after Zappacosta’s debut goal

Super Eagles midfielder, Victor Moses, may no longer get into Chelsea’s first team according to the club’s fans.

This was after new signing, Davide Zappacosta, scored a stunner to help the Blues ease past Qarabag 6-0 on Tuesday in the UEFA Champions League.

Moses, alongside Alvaro Morata and David Luiz, was given a well-deserved rest at Stamford Bridge.

In the place of the Nigerian, the Premier League champions handed a debut to deadline day signing, Zappacosta, who joined from Torino.

And the 25-year-old appears to have made an instant impression.

With the Blues one goal up through Pedro, Zappacosta popped up to double the hosts’ lead.

The Italian raced down the right flank, bypassing two Qarabag players, before smashing the ball past Sehic from 30 yards.

To the untrained eye, it looked a brilliant strike – but TV replays clearly show the player wanted to cross but mis-hit it, sending the ball flying into the net.

Yet, Blues’ fans appear to be talking up his first team chances.

First up with the trolls was teammates, Luiz and Willy Caballero, who appeared to be teasing the Nigerian on the bench.

Here’s what others had to say.
