The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has appointed Nollywood actor Kanayo O Kanayo as a member of its disciplinary committee and Sam Dede as its Chairman.
This was disclosed on Thursday by the AGN president Emeka Rollas on Instagram.
“Veteran Actor SAM DEDE heads Disciplinary committee as Actors Guild of Nigeria inaugurate Sub- Committees,” he wrote.
“In a bid to position the Actors Guild of Nigeria to meet the aspirations of members in line with international best practice, and to improve the standard of acting profession, the National President, inaugurated three powerful committees to help re-organize the Guild.
“Lilian Amah-Aluko, Secretary, Kanayo O. Kanayo, Funsho Adeolu, Tricia Esigbe, Adigizi Bala and Clarion Chukwura are listed members in the committee.”
Kanayo O. Kanayo, 58, was called to bar as Barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in September.
Sam, 54, is also a director, lecturer, politician, and television personality.
He has starred in movies such as; Ijele, Blood and Oil, Issakaba, Kamsi, among others.
