Jigawa governor appoints special assistants for wives, street light

Jigawa State Governor, Muhammad Abubakar, has appointed a special assistant to each of his three wives.

The governor has also appointed special assistants for street light and population control.

According to TheCable, the new aides are part of the 66 whose appointments were published by the governor’s office on Monday.

Among them are 15 special advisers, two senior special assistants, and 49 special assistants.

Sa’adatu Muhammed was appointed special assistant to Abubakar’s first wife, Mariya Muktar was appointed to his second wife, while Aisha Garba was appointed to his third wife.

The governor appointed Hassan Bulama and Surajo Gwiwa as special assistants on street light and population control respectively.
