NIJ lecturer dies of high blood pressure

Ogbodo

One of the brightest minds at the country’s premier monotechnic, the Nigeria Institute of Journalism (NIJ), Chris Ogbodo, is dead.

The broadcast lecturer died of high blood pressure at about 6am on Friday.

Described as lively and amiable, Ogbodo was quite visible during the institution’s recently concluded first semester examinations which ended on February 26, 2015.

Though firm, especially during examinations, the late lecturer is also known to trade hearty banters with students on a number of occasions.

Ogbodo joined the institution in 2010, and was a full-time staff until his death.
