Award-winning singer Innocent Idibia popularly known as 2face has continued to mourn his friend and colleague Sound Sultan who died in July 2021.
The 46-year-old shared an Instagram photo of the deceased on Monday with the caption: “I see you.”
Sound Sultan, born Olanrewaju Fasasi, died on July 11 in the United States after battling throat cancer. He has since been buried.
On 2face’s 46th birthday his wife Annie Idibia shared a throwback video of the singer’s 40th birthday celebration with herself, late Sound Sultan and his wife Farida Fasasi.
Mourning Sound Sultan, Annie said that she wished he was alive to witness another birthday celebration, she also appreciated him for his support and protection.
The video shows Annie Idibia, Sound Sultan and his wife Farida Fasasi watching 2face as he performed.
“Oh, Lanre I wish you were here today. Can’t help to celebrate my big brother Soltan as I celebrate you, my husband. It’s the way he always love and protected me. Fortified night holds so many memories,” she wrote in parts.
