Award-winning singer Innocent Idibia popularly known as 2baba has remembered the late rapper Oladapo Olanipekun better known as Dagrin as his 12th death anniversary approaches.
In an Instagram post on Thursday, 2baba uploaded a video of him listening to one of the late rapper’s tracks, while calling out his name in appreciation.
“Da Grin,” he said as he enjoyed the rapper’s music.
The Ogun-born rapper had a style that incorporated Yoruba, English and Pidgin English.
Some of his most popular songs include, ‘Pon Pon Pon’, ‘Kondo’ and ‘If I Die’
He died at age 25 in a car accident in Mushin, Lagos State.
The movie, Ghetto Dreamz, which is based on his life, was released in April 2011.
