Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, says the state has discharged 20 coronavirus (COVID-19) patients from its treatment facility.
The governor said in a Twitter thread on Monday that the latest release brings the total number of successfully treated COVID-19 patients in the state to 89.
Mohammed thanked the state’s medical personnel for their efforts in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic.
He also commended the State Task Force on COVID-19 and security officials.
Bauchi, as of Sunday, had 215 confirmed COVID-19 cases with 143 active.
