No less than 18 Nigerians have arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos from France.

The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) announced this on Friday, saying they arrived at 2:50 pm.

The commission said the free repatriation exercise was coordinated by the Nigeria Mission in France under Ambassador Modupe Irele in conjunction with multinational oil and gas company, Total.

“The exercise was monitored by Nigerians in Diaspora Commission on a free chartered flight facilitated by @Total,” the NIDCOM said.

The returnees will now proceed on 14 days self-isolation.

It was not immediately clear if they had been tested before boarding the flight.
