Zenith Bank Plc has announced plans to mark the 2026 International Women’s Day with its annual seminar scheduled for Monday, March 9.

The event will be held at The Civic Centre.

The seminar aligns with the global theme, “Give to Gain,” which focuses on investing in women to achieve progress. The bank’s theme for the 2026 edition is “Take It, You Own It.”

According to the bank, the theme reflects the role of institutions in creating enabling systems and the responsibility of women to take opportunities and lead.

The programme follows previous editions, including the 2025 seminar themed “Winning On All Fronts.”

Over the years, the bank’s International Women’s Day initiatives have brought together women in leadership, business and other sectors to discuss gender equity and professional growth.

The 2026 seminar will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions, question-and-answer sessions and other segments focused on leadership, professional development, wellbeing and collaboration.

Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Adaora Umeoji, who will deliver the welcome address, said International Women’s Day highlights the need for intentional progress.

“The International Women’s Day is a reminder that progress requires intentionality. ‘Give to Gain’ speaks to the responsibility institutions have to create real opportunities, while our theme ‘Take It, You Own It’ challenges women to step forward boldly and lead. At Zenith Bank, we are deliberate about building environments where women are supported to grow and shape outcomes within our institution and across the communities and industries we serve,” she said.

The bank said the seminar is aimed at encouraging engagement and advancing conversations around inclusion in business and society.
