Zenith Bank Plc has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the Africa Business Ventures and Investment Group (ABVIG) ahead of the Africa Climate Change and Green Investment Summit (AICIS-2026).
Group managing director/CEO of Zenith Bank Adaora Umeoji stated this in Lagos on Thursday following a courtesy visit by the chairman of the AICIS-2026 planning and organising committee, Moses Owharo.
Mrs Umeoji said the bank would support the global summit scheduled to hold from November 25 to 28, 2026.
She said the summit aims to promote sustainable infrastructure, climate resilience and inclusive economic growth across Africa.
The Zenith Bank boss noted the bank’s commitment to partnerships that translate innovative ideas into measurable community and economic impact.
She also highlighted the role of women in sustainability and climate action, noting their contributions to building a resilient and equitable future for the continent.
“This renewed partnership signifies our commitment to advancing progress and sustainability together as we prepare for AICIS-2026,” she said.
Mr Owharo said the visit was to strengthen collaboration on climate change initiatives, noting Zenith Bank’s presence across Africa.
He commended the bank’s support during the AICIS-2025 summit in Abuja and expressed optimism about continued partnership to achieve climate goals.
