Lead pastor of The Fountain of Life Church Jimmy Odukoya has celebrated his elder sister pastor Tolu Odukoya-Ijogun on her 40th birthday.
In a post shared on Instagram on Saturday, pastor Jimmy uploaded a compilation video showing playful moments between them and accompanied it with a message to his sister.
He began by calling her by her full name, “Caroline Toluwani Odukoya! First of her name! First born of the Clan!”
Poking fun at her milestone age, he added, “You’re now officially Old🤣🤣!! Now you’re 40, you won’t let us rest oh😏🤣.”
Explaining why he chose a video instead of photos, Jimmy wrote, “Pictures don’t cut it, so here’s us being us😅 Happy 40th, sis🎉❤.”
He also used the opportunity to express gratitude for her role in his life, “I honour your gift, I thank God for your life, and I’m grateful for the sister and friend that you are. We have been rolling from day 1! From family to ministry, we’ve done this side by side!”
Praying for her new season, Jimmy wrote, “My prayer is that this new season will be full of grace, laughter, joy and blessings. May God continue to shine his light on you and bless you on every side! Love you, sis. 4️⃣0️⃣ looks good on you!!!”
Tolu, who serves as an associate senior pastor at The Fountain of Life Church, also marked her milestone birthday with a thanksgiving post of what she described as God’s unfailing love on Instagram.
Quoting Psalm 2:7-9a, she wrote, “Today I celebrate 40 years of God’s unfailing love toward me. This vessel You created, Lord, will forever sing of Your goodness.”
Tolu and Jimmy are children of the late pastors Taiwo and Bimbo Odukoya, founders of The Fountain of Life Church.
