Actress Biola Adebayo has cried out after all her Instagram accounts were deactivated.
The 43-year-old shared a video on Sunday revealing that her main page, business page and other accounts suddenly went off. She attributed the development to what she described as massive reports against her.
She said, “My Instagram account has been deactivated. My main account, my business account, everything. You’re not fighting me, you’re fighting God.”
Biola, who has been very active online in recent months, appeared emotional as she appealed to her followers to stay connected through any account still accessible to her.
Hours after raising the alarm, the actress gave an update on Sunday night, announcing that one of her pages had been restored. She wrote, “GOOD NEWS!!! Praise God! Our main account Biolabayo1 is back but I’m yet to have access to it, hopefully before tomorrow morning by God’s grace, while we try to retrieve the other 3 business accounts. Thank you all for standing by me. I do not take your supports for granted. May God continue to bless you all. THANK YOU EVERYONE!”
The actress has been in the news in recent months over issues relating to her personal life, including her separation from her husband and the reactions that followed online.
Biola also runs a food business alongside her acting career and has recently spoken about the financial pressure from social events and rising costs of aso ebi.
A week ago, Biola had cried out over the cost of aso-ebi. She revealed that she has eight owambes before the end of the year, and the total value is approximately N2 million. She said she couldn’t afford it and made it known that she would stop buying aso-ebi and start wearing what she already had.
