You’re a distinguished servant of God, David Abioye celebrates Bishop Aremu on 69th birthday

Thomas Aremu

Founder of Living Word Conquerors Global Assembly Bishop David Abioye has celebrated former vice president of Living Faith Church Worldwide, also known as Winners Chapel, Bishop Thomas Aremu on his 69th birthday.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Bishop Abioye described Bishop Aremu as a servant of God and gave thanks to God for his life.

“Today, with great joy and deep gratitude to God, we celebrate a distinguished servant of God, Bishop Thomas Aremu, on the occasion of your 69th birthday,” he wrote.

He prayed for renewed strength for the cleric as he marks a new age.

“As you mark this new age, our prayer is that the Almighty will renew your strength like the eagle’s,” he said.

Abioye also prayed for an increase in Aremu’s life.

“We pray that God will increase you on every side,” he added.

He further prayed for more years in health and peace.

“We pray that God will grant you many more fruitful years in divine health, peace, and fulfilment,” he said.

Abioye wished him a happy birthday and said he was honoured.

“Happy 69th Birthday, Sir. We celebrate and honour you greatly,” he added.

Thomas Aremu retired from Winners Chapel in October 2024 alongside Abioye in line with the church’s guidelines.

Aremu joined the church in 1983 and was ordained a bishop in 1999.

After his retirement, he said he would not start a new church.
