Singer Young Jonn has revealed why he is not ready to settle down with one woman.
The 30-year-old spoke on the Way Up podcast hosted by Angela Yee, where he admitted he is currently more comfortable with platonic relationships.
“Everybody loves love. I mean, love is wonderful. But, I’m not really in that space where I can give so much of me to one person. So, I’m just keeping it platonic with everybody,” he said.
The ‘Aquafina’ crooner continued: “I don’t want a serious relationship right now. Because I feel like I won’t be able to give that person as much as I’m supposed to. So why put them in that situation?”
Young Jonn’s confession comes weeks after rumours spread that his relationship with Nikos Living, cousin of Afrobeats star Davido, had crashed. The two sparked dating speculations in 2024 after being spotted together several times.
Signs of a breakup reportedly appeared in August when they unfollowed each other on Instagram and deleted loved-up photos.
Born John Udomboso, Young Jonn first made his mark in the industry as a producer before crossing over to singing. He is currently signed to Chocolate City.
