Actor Bolaji Amusan, popularly known as Mr Latin, has celebrated his wife Ronke Amusan as she turned 50 on Tuesday.
On the eve of her birthday, Mr Latin shared a heartfelt tribute on Instagram, writing, “Tomorrow, 24th February, the love of my life turns 50… and my heart is already full. My darling wife, @ronkesololaamusan, you are not just the woman I married — you are my safe place, my answered prayer, my sweetest blessing. Through every season, you have loved me with patience, strength, and unwavering devotion. Your smile still melts my heart, your voice still calms my spirit, and your presence still completes my world. As you step into your Golden Jubilee, I celebrate the beauty of your soul, the warmth of your love, and the grace with which you carry our home. Fifty looks breathtaking on you — because you wear it with love. Happy Golden Jubilee in advance, my forever love. Tomorrow we celebrate gold… but you have always been priceless to me.”
On her birthday, he posted another message, saying, “Happy 50th Birthday to my beloved wife @ronkesololaamusan, my jewel of inestimable value. At 50, you shine brighter than ever — a symbol of love, patience, strength, and endless support. Thank you for standing by me through every season of life. As you celebrate this Golden Jubilee, my prayer is that God will crown your years with peace, sound health, and overflowing joy. I love you today, tomorrow, and forever. Happy Birthday, my Queen.”
The couple has been married since 1999 and are parents to two children. Ronke and their children currently live abroad, while Mr Latin continues to work actively in Nigeria’s film industry.
Mr Latin began acting in 1988 and rose to prominence after his role in the 1992 film 50-50, earning the nickname Mr Latin. He has featured in over 40 films and currently serves as the President of the Theatre Arts and Movie Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN).
