Yinka Theisen, the estranged lover of actor Linc Edochie, has defended him after a Facebook user accused all the sons of veteran actor Pete Edochie of being bad partners to women.
The drama began when a woman identified as Laura Miller posted on Facebook warning women to avoid Pete Edochie’s sons, claiming they do not treat women well.
Reacting, Yinka agreed with the woman’s general sentiment but cautioned against lumping all of Pete’s sons together. She stated that her ex-lover, Linc, is a decent man and should not be blamed.
She wrote, “Sis, I thank you for this. There is more than meets the eyes but not all are guilty. Linc is a good man. We just have different ways of dealing with things when we are under pressure. I will not throw him under the bus.
“The other day I was upset, but I am okay now. Forgiveness and love! No one lives forever. So much more sis. We remain prayerful. God bless. So much more than meets the eye. Thank you for your support.Gene is an awesome man. He has been my friend for so many years. I love you so much my sister 😍❤️❤️❤️.”
Yinka’s post comes days after she called out Linc Edochie on social media, claiming he embarrassed her. In a previous Instagram post, she said, “Since he has cowardly embarrassed me on social media, I will respond in kind.”
Their clash was triggered after Linc distanced himself from Yinka sharing May Edochie’s phone number online.
The incident has sparked mixed reactions online, with some social media users criticising Yinka for repeatedly airing her issues in public.
Yinka and Linc Edochie made headlines in June after the former nurse publicly declared she was no in a relationship with the filmmaker. She has since made several social media posts addressing their breakup.
Pete Edochie, the patriarch of the family, is a respected Nollywood veteran. His sons, including actor Yul Edochie, have come under scrutiny in recent years over their personal lives.
