Gospel artistes Yinka Alaseyori, Bidemi Olaoba and Sola Allyson will headline the ninth edition of the LULI Concert at Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos, on October 3.
The organisers, El Berachah Worship Ministry of the Celestial Church of God, described the annual event as “a premier gospel concert… which seeks to establish a platform for promoting God’s word, leading authentic worship and for intercessory prayers for the nation through praises.”
Other ministers lined up include Lilian Nneji, Evangeline Akin Adebayo Imoleayo, Eniola Olusoga, Seyi Solagbade, Toluwanisi Sings, Glorious Twins, Dee Reign, Nazarite and the Celestial Church of Christ Central Choir.
This year’s theme is “Garment of Praise”. According to the organisers, it is “a reminder that praise is both our response and our weapon in times of trial. Despite the challenges, there is so much to give thanks for. Therefore, we must raise our voices in worship, prayer and praise this year.”
The concert will also feature activities such as a medical outreach, music masterclass, choirmasters’ conference and a health fitness walk.
Yinka Alaseyori, whose song ‘Arojinle’ brought her to limelight, began her ministry in 2011. Bidemi Olaoba is known for blending gospel highlife and Fuji, with albums including Final Say (2016) and Niwaju Oluwa (2024). Sola Allyson became popular with the soundtrack album ‘Eji Owuro’ in 2003 and has since released several records including ‘Imuse’ and ‘Isodotun.’
