National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Nentawe Yilwatda has said the party will organise its path to victory in 2027 through discipline, unity and communication.
In a statement signed on Tuesday by Abimbola Tooki, Special Adviser to the APC National Chairman on Media and Communications Strategy, Yilwatda spoke at the Hope Ambassadors Summit in Abuja.
The event was attended by party leaders, governors and members of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors.
He said the summit was convened to reinforce belief in Nigeria, the reform programme of President Bola Tinubu and the APC.
According to him, governance must be supported with communication, structure and grassroots mobilisation to translate reforms into electoral success.
“Good governance without communication is invisible. Communication without structure is noise. And politics without grassroots mobilization is an organised defeat,” he said.
Yilwatda stated that governance and electoral success are linked, adding that the summit aimed to strengthen communication under the Renewed Hope Agenda while preparing for the 2027 general election.
He said while opposition parties expect reforms to weaken the APC, the party has chosen to proceed with its policies.
“History does not reward hesitation; it rewards conviction. In 2027, Nigerians will not vote for noise; they will vote for results,” he said.
The APC chairman said the party operates on discipline and shared direction.
He cautioned against contradictory messaging and internal actions that could weaken cohesion.
He said party members must align their communication, noting that when the president speaks, governors should support the message and party members should defend party decisions.
Yilwatda contrasted the APC’s reform agenda with the approach of opposition parties, describing the 2027 election as a choice between governance models.
He said the election would serve as a referendum on reform and direction, adding that victory would depend on communication, mobilisation and unity.
He urged APC governors to focus on performance and communication, called on Renewed Hope Ambassadors to expand outreach, and asked party leaders to protect unity.
In his closing remarks, Yilwatda said party members should prioritise structure, clarity and unity ahead of 2027.
