Marketing communication firm X3M Ideas has been ranked Nigeria’s number one agency in The Loeries Official Rankings 2025.
The rankings, released earlier in the week, also placed X3M Ideas as the number 23 agency in Africa and the Middle East.
The agency was further ranked seventh in the Independent Agency category.
Reacting in a LinkedIn post on Wednesday, CEO of X3M Ideas Steve Babaeko described the ranking as a reflection of the company’s work and high standards.
“The Loeries Official Rankings 2025 are out, and I couldn’t be prouder of our team.
“Number 1 in Nigeria. 7th on the Independent Agency Rankings
“These results don’t happen by chance. They’re the product of relentless standards, brave thinking, and a team that refuses to settle for ‘good enough.’
“We’ll keep pushing ourselves, sharpening our craft, and doing what matters most: creating real value for our clients’ businesses.
“Grateful. Hungry. Just getting started,” he wrote.
The recognition comes after the agency was named the country’s most creative agency at the 2025 Lagos Advertising and Ideas Festival (LAIF).
X3M Ideas was founded in 2012 and has expanded its presence in Nigeria’s marketing and advertising sector over the years.
In 2023, the agency became the first Nigerian and West African agency to win a Cannes Lions award.
In May 2025, X3M Ideas was also listed by the Financial Times of London among Africa’s Fastest Growing Companies.
The report ranked the company 31st out of 130 firms across the continent. It also stated that X3M recorded a 563.9 percent growth rate and an annual compound growth rate of 87.9 percent.
The Loeries is regarded as one of the major awards for the advertising and brand communication industry across Africa and the Middle East.
