Actresses Wumi Toriola and Toyin Abraham have publicly ended their long‑standing rumoured feud with a reconciliation at a cinema in Ikeja, Lagos.
A video shared Monday, showed the two Nollywood stars embraced each other, signalling an end to a long period of tension between them.
In the viral clip, the former close friends were seen exchanging warm words and hugs, with Toyin Abraham telling Wumi, “I miss you,” to which Wumi responded, “I miss you too.” The footage has been widely shared, generating positive reactions from fans and industry observers.
The reconciliation comes after months of speculation about a feud between the actresses.
Their relationship appeared strained after disagreements and social media exchanges involving other industry figures and fan commentary. In the past, Wumi recalled a falling‑out with Toyin over an incident during a film project that led to hurt feelings, and there were moments when neither congratulated the other publicly on personal milestones. These episodes contributed to the perception of a rift between them.
Wumi Toriola has previously spoken about her respect for Toyin Abraham, describing her as a mentor who helped her navigate parts of the film industry early in her career.
Toyin Abraham is recognised for films such as Malaika and Alakada which she produced and starred in, while Wumi Toriola has also built a strong portfolio, appearing in films such as Farmer’s Bride and other productions.
