Actress Wumi Toriola has reacted after singer Adekunle Gold likened her to current Big Brother Naija housemate Imisi.
The ‘Orente’ singer took to X on Friday to write, “Imisi na Wumi Toriola. Awon weyrey meji.”
Reacting to the post, Wumi wrote, “Big fish, I don repent fah… since the beginning of this year. Na gentle lady I be.”
Adekunle Gold’s comparison comes after Imisi made headlines for her fiery personality and foul-mouthed exchange with fellow housemate Rooboy, during which she rained Yoruba curses on him and refused to do chores in Biggie’s house.
Wumi, who is known for playing feisty and dramatic roles in Yoruba films, playfully dismissed the comparison by stating that she had changed her ways.
The actress had previously referred to Adekunle Gold as a “big fish” in the industry while celebrating his 10 years on stage in December 2024.
Wumi is the producer and lead actress of Queen Lateefah, one of the highest-grossing Nollywood films of 2024.
