Comedian and actor Ayobami Ajewole, better known as Woli Agba, has recounted how he narrowly escaped death after a car he was in caught fire.
The 42-year-old narrated the incident in an Instagram post on Wednesday, saying he could not recover from the miracle.
“So I had an event on Saturday, after escaping the accident from the bursted tyre while on the highway. I fortunately got another car that I took to the venue right on the spot of the accident,” he wrote.
“Arriving the venue, I was changing my outfit in the car not knowing the TANK of the CAR that contains fuel up to the half of the tank already caught fire.
“This is my testimony, I can’t explain how and where the fuel passed that the car did not explode while I was inside the car despite the fact that there was physical fire that everyone was trying to put out after I highlighted from the car and they discovered.”
He explained that those around him thought it was a cable burning. Several extinguishers were used but the fire would not go out.
“When there was no more options… they decided to push the car out of the event centre so the burning won’t affect other cars. While they abandoned the car expecting it to explode, another man no one could describe came with an industrial fire extinguisher, quenched the fire all by himself and left.”
Woli Agba added: “When God decides to save, even rules are suspended… I was sitting inside the fire that could have ended a Season of The Prophet with the oil of Gladness. TO GOD ALONE BE ALL THE GLORY FOREVER!!!”
