Afrobeats stars Wizkid and Tems joined Justin Bieber on stage at Coachella 2026 to perform their hit single ‘Essence’ (Remix).
Videos shared online on Sunday showed the moment Bieber, who was on stage with Tems, announced, “We got Wizkid in the house,” drawing loud cheers as Wizkid stepped out to join them.
Wizkid then performed alongside both artistes on ‘Essence’, the song that helped introduce Tems to a wider global audience in 2020. As they took turns singing, the crowd responded with excitement.
The performance was part of Bieber’s headline set at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2026, held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. The festival began on April 10 and runs across two weekends, April 10 to 12 and April 17 to 19.
This year’s edition features a mix of global stars across genres. Other performers on the lineup include Sabrina Carpenter, Karol G, The Strokes, Jack White, Giveon, Labrinth and David Byrne.
