Actress Empress Njamah has penned a heartwarming message to Jason, son of her late colleague Junior Pope, as he marked his fifth birthday.
Empress shared photos of the celebrant and his mother Jennifer Awele on Instagram, expressing pride in the young boy’s growth while remembering his late father.
She wrote:
“Wowwwww 5 already? Happy 5th birthday to an amazing little boy JAMON.
I wish your dad was here to celebrate this special day with you, but I know he’s watching over you from above, beaming with pride. You’re growing up to be a kind, smart, and adventurous young man (HANDFUL TOO) and I’m so grateful to see it!
“To the beautiful mum @qutejay, you’re doing an incredible job! Raising a bright and curious child like this is no easy feat, but you’re crushing it!

This is not the first time Empress has shown affection toward Junior Pope’s family. In June, she gifted another of his son a laptop to celebrate his graduation, a gesture that earned her praise from fans and colleagues.
Junior Pope died in April 2024 after a boat accident in Anambra State while returning from a movie shoot. He was survived by his wife Jennifer and their three children.
