Jordan, son of the minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Nyesom Wike, has been called to the Nigerian bar.

He is among the latest set of legal practitioners inducted on Tuesday at the Nigerian Law School, Abuja.

Minister Wike, a member of the body of benchers, joined other members in a procession at the call to bar ceremony.

His media aide, Lere Olayinka, shared photos from the event, showing the minister, his wife Justice Eberechi Wike of the Court of Appeal and their son.

In separate posts, Mr Olayinka wrote, “Minister, Nyesom Wike, joined other members of the Body of Benchers in a procession at the Call to Bar ceremony today. His son, Jordan, is among the aspiring legal practitioners to be called to bar today.

“Happy Dad and Mum. FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, his Wife, Justice Eberechi Suzzette Wike, with their son, Jordan, who is to be called to bar today.”

Jordan graduated with a Second Class Upper Division in Law from the University of Exeter, United Kingdom, in 2022.

He obtained a Master of Laws degree from Queen Mary University of London earlier this year.
