Actress Scarlet Gomez has spoken about her marriage and how her husband responds to her roles that include romantic scenes in films.
In an interview with Isbae U, she said her husband has no problem with her kissing scenes in movies, noting that their relationship is based on trust and understanding.
“My husband doesn’t care about me kissing in movies. I am married to a man, not a boy. He doesn’t have ego and he trusts his wife,” she said.
She added that her husband is aware of the demands of her profession and supports her career as an actress.
Scarlet Gomez is a Nigerian actress, model and singer.
She is known for playing Fadekemi in the Africa Magic sitcom Flatmates, a role that brought her wider attention. She also gained recognition for her lead role as Wura-Amoo Adeleke in the television series Wura, where she played a central character in the gold mining drama.
Scarlet has previously discussed the emotional pressure attached to her role in Wura, saying it affected her mental health and led her to seek therapy after filming. She noted that the intensity of the character made it difficult to separate her real life from the role.
She continues to work in Nollywood, featuring in film and television productions.
Scarlet Gomez is married to Temi Gomez, a Nigerian record producer. The couple tied the knot on April 15, 2017.
