Why I’m not getting married soon – Lizzy Gold

Filmmaker Lizzy Gold has told her fans she is not in a hurry to get married and has asked them to stop pressuring her about her relationship status.

The 38-year-old, who is a mother of two, spoke in a video she shared on social media while preparing to attend a colleague’s wedding. She said she already expects people to ask why it is not her turn yet and made it clear that marriage is not something she is considering at the moment.

“It is not going to be my turn anytime soon. I am not getting married anytime soon; I am not even thinking about it,” she said. “I am waiting on God. If peradventure there is no man, it is not a sin to remain single.”

Lizzy said she is focused on raising her children and described herself as “married to my kids.” She added that she would only marry the right man and was not interested in rushing into a relationship with someone who does not have his life together.

She has previously spoken about her views on marriage, saying she values her personal space and prefers to take her time before making such a commitment. She has also said she would consider a long distance marriage, explaining that she does not feel comfortable living with a spouse every day.

Lizzy Gold remains active in Nollywood, featuring in several films and producing her own projects.
