Actress Uche Ogbodo has said she supports plastic surgery for women who want to enhance their bodies.
The 39-year-old and mother of three recently underwent a Brazilian Butt Lift and a full mummy makeover.
In an interview with Saturday Sun, she said she has no regrets about her decision and is ready to encourage other women who choose similar procedures.
“There’s nothing wrong with being beautiful. Nothing wrong in surgically enhancing your beauty,” she said.
“We are women. You need to look like a flower that you are. You need to be more beautiful so you can own the world. After plastic surgery, you become a glorious baddie, you will be more gorgeous and have everything going for you.”
Uche said body enhancement should not be viewed as shameful, stressing that it is a personal choice that can improve confidence and self esteem.
Beyond her body transformation, the actress also spoke about her marriage. She described her husband as kind and supportive, saying the little things he does make their relationship enjoyable.
“My husband is a sweet man. He does little things that are funny and fun to be around. He’s a quiet person, very quiet, but when he’s in a good mood, he wants to chit-chat,” she said.
She also spoke about his character and career as a lawyer.
“He’s very supportive of his friends. He’s a good man with so much love to give. There are just things that tell a lot about a person. I don’t want to change anything about my husband. I just want him to be himself and live his life. God made him the way he is for a reason,” she added.
Uche has in the past shared details of her cosmetic procedures on social media.
The actress, known for her roles in Nollywood films and television productions, remains active in the industry while balancing her career and family life.
